Fabian Delph has insisted Aston Villa are not feeling the pressure ahead of the relegation run-in.
Villa moved five points clear of the relegation zone with a 6-1 win over Sunderland on Monday, but with Wigan, who occupy the final relegation place, having a game in hand on those above them, the battle to avoid the drop is far from over.
However, Delph, who moved to Villa Park from Leeds United in 2009, stressed that he and his team-mates are relishing the challenge.
We are young players and we have fire in our bellies. It might sound mad but we are not feeling that much pressure, the 23-year-old said.
We are going out there and enjoying it.
Villa face a difficult final three games with away trips to relegation rivals Norwich City and Wigan separated by a difficult home game with top-four hopefuls Chelsea.
But Delph is adamant that they will remain positive regardless of any setbacks they may suffer.
We have been selected to do a job and that is what we have been doing, the midfielder added.
We will work 100 percent in every game. If it is not going for us we will still keep going.
